The Herdsman with Sheep and Hoe figure is part of the Pema Rainell collection by Pema Woodcarvings, a renowned Italian studio from Val Gardena known for hand-carved and hand-painted wooden nativity figures. This figure portrays a barefoot shepherd wearing a textured vest and hat, holding a long hoe, with a sheep at his side. The natural wood carving is finely detailed and painted in warm earth tones, reflecting traditional shepherd clothing and tools.
