The Herdsman with lamb is a hand-carved wooden figure from Original Heide's Heide Hannah collection. It features a shepherd carrying a lamb, dressed in fabric garments over a wire armature.

This figure represents a shepherd carrying a lamb on his shoulders, a traditional nativity scene character symbolizing care and guidance. It is part of the Heide Hannah collection by Original Heide, a family woodcarving workshop in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy, known for hand-carving nativity figures in maple and lime wood. The figure is posed on a wire armature and draped in hardened fabric clothing, enhancing its lifelike appearance.

The craftsmanship includes detailed hand-painting and the use of natural fabrics for the garments, typical of Original Heide's style. The figure is available in sizes ranging from 12 to 20 cm, fitting well into small to medium indoor nativity sets. This artisan nativity figure is ideal for collectors seeking traditional wooden nativity figures with authentic European heritage, selected and shipped by Navidad Nativities.
