This figure depicts a shepherd carrying a sheep on his shoulders, part of the Original Ulrich collection by ULPE Wood Art. It is hand-carved from wood and finished with detailed painting.

The Herder with Sheep on Shoulders is a finely hand-carved wooden figure from ULPE Wood Art's Original Ulrich collection, known for traditional nativity sets and figures crafted in Val Gardena, Italy. This piece represents a shepherd carrying a sheep, a classic nativity scene character, rendered with lifelike detail and naturalistic color tones.

Available in sizes ranging from 10 to 15 cm, the figure is carved from wood and hand-painted to highlight the textures of the shepherd's clothing, the sheep's wool, and the shepherd's expressive face. The Original Ulrich line features figures posed naturally, embodying the pastoral life around the nativity. This collectible nativity figure is suitable for indoor nativity scenes and complements other traditional Italian nativity sets.

As part of Navidad Nativities' curated selection, this artisan figure reflects the heritage and craftsmanship of Val Gardena woodcarving, prized for its detailed and realistic depiction of nativity characters.
