This Group of Rabbits is a hand-carved wooden figure from Pema Woodcarvings' Pema Kostner collection. It features finely painted details typical of this Italian artisan studio.

The Group of Rabbits represents a naturalistic depiction of two rabbits, crafted by Pema Woodcarvings, a renowned studio from Val Gardena, Italy. This figure is part of the Pema Kostner collection, known for its hand-carved wooden nativity figures and animals. The rabbits are carefully hand-painted to enhance their lifelike appearance, capturing subtle color variations and textures.

Made from wood and carved by hand, this piece fits within the scale range of 9.5 to 16 cm, suitable for indoor display in nativity scenes or as part of traditional Christmas sets. Pema Woodcarvings is recognized for its detailed craftsmanship and has a legacy of creating collectible nativity figures that are shipped through Navidad Nativities, a respected retailer with a history of museum and media recognition. This group complements nativity animals like sheep, oxen, and donkeys in the collection.
