Grandparents on Bench is a hand-carved wooden figure pair from Pema Woodcarvings' Pema Kostner collection, featuring finely painted traditional villagers seated on a bench.

This figure set depicts an elderly couple seated together on a rustic wooden bench, embodying traditional village life. Crafted by Pema Woodcarvings of Val Gardena, Italy, the figures are hand-carved from wood and hand-painted with detailed facial features and period clothing. The man holds a small bottle and sack, while the woman knits with red yarn and needles, adding a warm, homely touch to the scene.

Part of the Pema Kostner line, these figures are designed as collectible nativity scene villagers, offered in sizes ranging from 9.5 to 16 cm. The craftsmanship reflects the Italian heritage of Val Gardena woodcarving, known for its meticulous detail and vibrant paintwork. This pair complements traditional nativity sets and enhances indoor nativity displays with authentic character and charm.
