Flight into Egypt is a hand-carved wooden nativity scene figure set from Original Heide's Heide Hannah collection, featuring finely detailed figures posed on wire armatures and draped in hardened fabrics.

This Flight into Egypt set from Original Heide's Heide Hannah collection beautifully depicts the biblical journey of Mary, Joseph, and the infant Jesus. Crafted in the Val Gardena workshop in South Tyrol, Italy, these figures are hand-carved from maple and lime wood, then hand-painted with delicate detail. The figures are posed on wire armatures, allowing for naturalistic postures, and dressed in carefully hardened fabrics that add texture and realism.

Mary is shown seated on a donkey, holding the sleeping Christ child swaddled in striped cloth, while Joseph stands beside them holding a staff and the donkey's reins. The set is offered in sizes ranging from 12 to 20 cm, suitable for indoor nativity displays. This artisan nativity figure set reflects traditional craftsmanship and is selected and imported by Navidad Nativities, known for curating fine nativity scenes and figures.
