The Fawn is a hand-carved wooden figure from the Pema Kostner collection by Pema Woodcarvings, Val Gardena, Italy. It features fine hand-painting and naturalistic detailing.

This Fawn figure represents a young deer, crafted by Pema Woodcarvings, a renowned Italian studio from Val Gardena known for its hand-carved wooden nativity figures. It is part of the Pema Kostner collection, which includes traditional nativity animals and figures carved from wood and finished with detailed hand-painting.

The figure stands approximately 16 cm tall and showcases the studio's craftsmanship in creating lifelike animal figures for nativity scenes. The natural wood carving is enhanced with soft brown and cream tones, with delicate white spots on the fawn's back, capturing the gentle and innocent nature of the animal. This collectible nativity figure is suitable for indoor nativity sets and complements traditional Christmas nativity displays.
