This Duck Swimming Right figure is part of the Pema Rainell collection by Pema Woodcarvings, featuring hand-carved and hand-painted wooden nativity animals from Val Gardena, Italy.

The Duck Swimming Right figure represents a white duck in a swimming pose, crafted with detailed carving that captures the texture of feathers and the natural posture of the bird. It is hand-carved from wood and hand-painted with a white body and an orange beak, consistent with the traditional style of the Pema Rainell collection.

Pema Woodcarvings, based in Val Gardena, Italy, is renowned for its artisanal wooden nativity figures, including animals, shepherds, and holy family members. The Rainell line features small-scale figures, typically between 9 and 15 cm, designed for indoor nativity scenes. This duck figure complements traditional nativity sets and adds a charming natural element to the scene. Navidad Nativities carefully selects and imports these figures, ensuring quality and authenticity.
