This Ox and Donkey pair is part of the Ulrich Comet collection by ULPE Wood Art, showcasing hand-carved wooden nativity animals from Val Gardena, Italy. The figures are finely detailed and painted in naturalistic tones.

The Ox and Donkey figures belong to the Ulrich Comet collection by ULPE Wood Art, a renowned studio from Val Gardena, Italy, known for its hand-carved wooden nativity figures. These animals are crafted with attention to detail, capturing the traditional nativity scene companions with lifelike poses and subtle shading in their paintwork. The figures are part of a small-scale nativity set range, offered in sizes from 10 to 16 cm, suitable for indoor nativity displays.

Each figure is carved from wood and hand-painted, reflecting the studio's craftsmanship and the heritage of Italian nativity artistry. This pair complements other figures in the Ulrich Comet line, which is characterized by modern and minimalist interpretations of classic nativity subjects. The Donkey stands while the Ox is depicted lying down, both rendered with natural colors and smooth finishes, making them collectible pieces for traditional and contemporary nativity scenes alike.
