The Roman Forum Nativity celebrates the idea of Christianity being built upon the fall of Rome.  The towering Roman temple with its massive columns crumbles around the celebration of the birth of Christ as the Egyptian Marble Obelisk looms in the background as a reminder of Rome’s former Emperial power.  The beautifully carved figures are the Saviour Collection of ULPE Wood Art, Val Gardena, Italy.  This piece is now in a private collection in Indiana.
