In 2015, Navidad Nativities was invited for the first time to join the World Nativities Exhibition at Glencairn Museum in Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania. Glencairn,  and the Bryn Athyn Cathedral represent the heart of the Bryn Athyn Historic District and were masterfully built under the direction of Raymond Pitcairn.  During the Great Depression, Pitcairn sent a team of local craftsmen to Europe to learn the trades of masonry, ironwork, millwork, mosaics and stained glass.  The result was a re-envisioned old-world European Community in the heart of Montgomery County, PA.  The Glencairn Nativity honors the architecture of the historic district you find the iconic blue-lit altar of Bryn Athyn Cathedral as it is embraced by Glencairn; it’s outdoor cloister garden to the left, and the majestic upper hall to the right.  The tradespeople are all represented in the detailed design; the curved stone staircase, and rich teak flooring, the blue-fired terra cotta roof tiles, the swirly iron gate, intricate mosaic floors, an oxidized copper lamp and the Alpha and Omega hedge showcase the pride of  this tiny community of the Swedenbourg Faith.   The stunning figures added to this extravagant display are the Immanuel Collection of Original Heide, Val Gardena, Italy.
